Position Summary

The Dispatcher coordinates and communicates activities between the captains and our clients. This role is responsible for:

  • Directly interface with customers to provide the best possible level of service and satisfaction
  • Process job/work requests (received from the Captains, from the field, or directly from phone calls from customers), which includes generating work orders and issuing to the assigned technician
  • Dispatch Captains
  • Keep track of packages coming and going to ships.
  • Maintain a log of all job orders issued
  • Reconcile discrepancies
  • Generate reports on a weekly and a monthly basis
  • Coordinate service activities on a day-to-day basis, including preparation, service calls, updates and follow ups. Maintain an ongoing schedule of all Captains


You need to be highly organized, analytical, diplomatic, highly-ethical, team-oriented and able to work well in a results-oriented environment. This role requires an ability to manage both customers and a team of captains and deckhands, to be comfortable producing reports and analyzing data, and intermediate skill level in Excel and other information systems.

You will be working within a Gmail and Microsoft Office environment. You should be experienced in the MS Office suite of tools.

Quickbooks knowledge a plus.

Ability to multi-task in a hands on environment.


Experienced with operation of two-way radios a plus.

Valid driver’s license a plus.

Must be able to pass drug/alcohol and background checks.
